Las Vegas cop opens fire at a 7-Eleven, shooting one victim – video

“Metro police are investigating an officer-involved shooting at a 7-Eleven in the northwest party of the valley which took place early Tuesday morning.

According to police, around 2:15 a.m. an officer pulled up to the 7-Eleven at Lake Mead and Jones Boulevards to get a drink. At the same time, two people ran out of the store and told the officer there was a robbery taking place inside.

“The officer immediately went to the front doors of the 7-Eleven, as he did he saw a man inside pointing a gun at the clerk, he opened the door and the man with the gun immediately pointed the gun at the officer and the officer fired at the suspect,” said Deputy Chief Kathy O’Connor, Metro Police Department.”
