update – man shot in St. Louis on 7/12 identified as Joshua Hackman – video

“Two officers in uniform responded in a marked patrol car.  By the time they arrived, Hackman was the only person officers saw walking.  The officers called out to Hackman and attempted to make a pedestrian stop, but he started running.

At one point, a pursuin officer saw the suspect was carrying a handgun.

As the suspect cut back to the alley, the other officer exited a patrol car. The officer on foot shouted to the officer in the alley that Hackman had a gun.

As the suspect ran into the alley, the officer saw the gun and shouted for the suspect to drop it.
