As the suspect cut back to the alley, the other officer exited a patrol car. The officer on foot shouted to the officer in the alley that Hackman had a gun.
As the suspect ran into the alley, the officer saw the gun and shouted for the suspect to drop it.
The suspect, according to police, pointed the gun and the officer fired several shots. ”
