Unarmed victim shot in Sacramento

“West Sacramento police officers were called to the 800 block of Platinum Lane around 10:41 p.m. Monday night in response to a report of a domestic assault.

Upon arrival at the scene, an individual rushed one officer and attempted to grab his gun. In response, the officer fired his weapon, hitting the person once.”

Often, after a cop shoots an unarmed person, the cop justifies the shooting by saying that that person tried to reach for his gun. Does this seem like a plausible explanation (over and over and over again)?

If anyone has any information, please share in the comments section.

I witnessed the whole thing. There was not enough time for the shooting victim to have “rushed” an officer. The officers were kicking the door with their weapons drawn and as soon as the door was opened, the shot was fired.

    1. Cops always lie when they use lethal force – they are trained to. If you have any other information or details, please share them so the truth can get out. You’re brave for doing so.
